water in the oil

ok guys here is the problem I got water mixing in my oil, but the car only cost me a couple hundred and I only need it for a few more weeks as I am leaving the country. so anyone know any dodgy patch ups. I heard that pepper might work any other cheep patch up ideas?

50p on a blown head gasket. You do not say if it is like condensation on the filler cap, beads of water on the dipstick, or gallons sloshing about in the sump.

If you don't want to repair it you could try a radiator sealant obtainable from your motorists accessory shop. It will have more chance than any of the foodstuff repairs used in the 1920's.

The engine will probably not stop working in the next two weeks anyway, but you might try draining the oil into a basin to see how much water there is in it. You can tip it back afterwards (without the water). I would hope you have not got more than a few drops.
