We had a single ply membrane roof with OSB boards installed onto our flat concrete roof in our front porch. Previously the roof had no covering and water would just drip from it. Following the installation, we discovered huge patches of water on the underside of the concrete roof every time it rains. This would happen even in small rain. The roofers came out and did a bucket test. At least 6 buckets of water were poured over the roof and no water came in yet it still continues to show wet patches when raining. The only explanation the roofer could give what it was moisture on the concrete surface and suggested either a brick vent or placing insulation boards on the underside. I am a bit hesitant on this idea unless I can be sure the roof itself is no leaking.
I would welcome your thoughts.
