Water Meter in bathroom - needs to be moved?

Hi,
We are moving to an old bungalow and it seems the water meter is in the bathroom, I've never seen this before and wondered would it need to be moved or would it be OK to stay where it is?

Nothing wrong with it provided it meters the water to the entire house

Cool cheers muggles, I'm having a plumber round to check central heating so will get him to check it for me.
