Water not flowing from tap

The flow from the hot tap in our bathroom has been getting progressively slower the past few days. Today it's almost stopped altogether. The hot flow in other taps is fine. I attempted to take the tap apart to look at the washer, but I am unable to undo the head gear; it just won't budge. The bathroom taps are relatively new; we had a bathroom refurb last October. Any ideas?

All of a sudden, it's after starting to work properly again! (after 4 days) Whatever blockage was there must have freed itself in the past few minutes.

Good. BTW you were trying to loosen the correct part, but they can take a bit of shifting at times.
