I have water penetration in my hallway about 4ft below the velux in the picture.
It looks like water is running off the side of the copings then down the rendered wall.
Therea about 5mm gap at some points between the underside of the copings and the wall.
There is a round drip off but the end of it runs right into the wall where the gap is.
What’s the best stuff to seal the gap until next year when I’ll get copings removed and rebedded.
Was thinking builders silicon or mortar repair in a tube or Sikaflex?
Or should I grind out some render and refill with cement?
Would grinding a drip off closer to the edge of the copings help?

Thanks for advice

Everbuild 450 builders silicon is very sticky and suitable for external masonry. Might be worth considering wider copings with drip grooves to throw the rain off, and/or some sort of guttering to drain it away.

Blup
