The water to my house is pumped from a well. On top of the well sits a DAB pump atop a 60 litre pressure vessel, which contains a large rubber diaphragm, which holds the water. When fully pressurised and full, the pressure is about 60psi, when the water is used and the pressure drops to app 20psi, a pressure switch activates the pump and refills it. The air pressure surrounding the diaphragm is app 18psi. This air pressure falls to zero every couple of days, resulting in the pressure switch continually switching on and off ( I have burnt out two switches in two weeks)
Any clues anyone??
