Water seeping into kitchen from top of roof

Hi I have a problem with water coming in to the kitchen which at first the builder thought was the flashing on the extension, this has been repaired but it still happens. It's not a leak as such just water splash marks. the builder has pointed the walls over the roof and checked the tiles and felting under them.

Any ideas? he's now checking the gutters and the downspouts.

I first noticed the problem in September, but with this constant rain it's now more apparent.

It could be a cavity tray issue depending on how your extension and house are constructed. but it could be lots of other things so as other have said a bit more info would be good.

Thank you everyone who replied. The builder thinks it's draining in through cavity from extension. I will post a photo. Thanks I'll let you know how I get on.
