Hi, everyone,
I recently suffered a terrible leak in the underground mains water supply, resulting in a flood. The plumber fixed it, but said that as it is made of lead, it should be replaced. He suggested that instead of digging a trench from one end of the house to the other, that a new pipe could lead from just inside the entrance to the property, up the wall, and into a cold water feed under the upstairs floorboards. This sounds a great idea, but I'm wondering if it's within the regulations. Can anyone advise, please?
Many thanks.
