Hi,
I've recently started as a caretaker job at a school. The water tank has this foam ball cock (sorry if it's something else) it's at it's max hight so it's not saggy but has a constant drip so come over night then over flow goes out on to play ground. It's not a major issue but when trades come to the school then always wanna replace everything cuz they think the school will just pay..
So just looking for any advice will the whole thing need changing or is it something I can look at? I have ok knowledge with plumbing.

Any help would be amazing

Thanks in advance

Standard sort in homes yeah. Just replace: the lot.
That one looks more substantial so I don't know if it's easy to fix with washer?

Hi thanks for point me in the right direction. Would it be possible to change the whole valve and replace it with a more standard/easier to repair valve?

It down to frequency of use and how it operates. it's quite specific as to how it refills etc and makes it easier to avoid any regulation entanglements when it comes to it's location.
