Hi
I've just had a bath panel and plinth fitted to the side of my bath and I've noticed that the white laminated chipboard plinth the panel sits on is starting to crack at the edges. I guess this is due to water dripping onto it. I want to replace the plinth with something more waterproof. I thought of using gloss painted softwood. Will this
work? Is it better to use hardwood. Any ideas?
As the plinth came with the panel I can always go back to the shop. But all they will probably do is supply the same plinth.
Thanks.
