Waterproof sheeting for around baths and showers?

Waterproof panels, apparently in same size as plasterboard or hardboard would be supplied in, fitted around baths or showers in lieu of tiling

Is there a generic name for this stuff, apart from 'waterproof sheeting' (which sounds like 'tarpaulin' when you write it down.....)

Aquapanel is the Manufacturers name for a tilebacker board, the OP is suggesting Wet Walling.

If you think so then the OP should rephrase his question, as he wrote 'in lieu of tiling' which suggests instead of, in place of tiling.

surpose its the same as wanting a shower pump but advised on getting a unvented system.
