Hi, 1st time here, hope I'm in the correct place.
I have removed the vent covers (to decorate) from the cupboard that the wau boiler is in, they had self adhesive foam strips around the inside of each one. Unfortunately, the foam disintegrated and I am just left with adhesive on them. Please can you tell me if I need to replace the foam, is it essential and if so, can I use something like 'window draught excluder' as that is what it looked like before it fell apart.
