Hello, this is my first question so please be kind! Could anyone tell me where I might be able to buy wooden weatherstrips for a garage door?

Thank you.

There's quite a wide range of products available for sealing thresholds and other edges of garage doors. You'd do best to do your own search to find products that suit your own needs.

Thanks for your help, xerxes, but what I want is a wooden weather strip, similiar to the one you would put on the bottom of a wooden door, but bigger. The ones for doors are standard, but I need a pair of larger ones for the bottom of a pair of wooden garage doors. I have done the google searches but to no avail. It has been suggested that I may have to make them, I just wondered if there were any I could buy.

I think it may not be called a weather strip. I'll check to see if I have the name wrong. Thanks again.

How wide is each door? Its called a weather bar BTW. Doubt you'll get one longer than about 920mm, get a pair made up by a local timber mill.

Thanks FMT, once I had the right name I found some online, but you are right, can't get any big enough so I will go the timber merchant route. Thanks very much.

Edited to add, Jewsons say they can make them for me. Sorted.
