webpage link opens in very small narrow window....help

I think i have pressed a key by mistake, Every time a click on a link to a webpage, the new webpage opens in a new window, BUt its very narrow, and i need it to open into a full screen!!! what have i done and how can i correct it

Using your mouse at the corners of the linked page drag the page to the size you require. Close the original page first then the link page & then retry. It happens because you have closed a small pop up page last in the sequence & that is the size they open at when you reboot.
