I'm being lazy I know, but just wondered if anyone had heard/seen of a webtool that could be used to calculate the required pipe sizes for a given CH layout?
I've used the flow tables in the past, but I reckon it wouldn't be too hard to create a simple webtool that could be used to create a given CH layout and to add in the BTU of each rad etc and then for the tool to calculate the required pipe sizes, given the kw required, pressure drops, flow rates due to elbows/tees etc, etc...
if there isn't one, I might write one.
clicked return too quickly...
this website is quite useful, though not as useful as the wonderful DIYnot!!
