I seem to have an infestation as per the attached photo.

Anyone know what weed it is?

Best way to treat?

Also can this of been caused by overwatering?

Thanks.

Possibly plantain, is so you can eat it. There are weed killers and lawn feed in one pack.

If you live 'Up North', it almost has the succulent quality of a Common Wintergreen?

No, but how short have you been cutting your grass? Most weeds will not survive being repeatedly cut off. Those that will are low-growing lawn weeds, and a hormone lawn weed killer will deal with them. Apply with a watering can not a sprayer, as any spray drift will damage other plants.

To reduce missed patches, apply two half-doses, the second at right angles to the first. If you have very few weeds, you can spot-treat them.

You can leave the first cuttings on the lawn, as the chemical is persistent and will survive in the compost heap
