Weeping Cast iron soil pipe socket branch

hi I have a semi with the orginal cast iron soil pipe fitted. I have just noticed that whenever I flush the toilet the pipe outside starts to weep/drip slowly at where the pipe branches from the wall and connects to the stack at the socket see pic below with arrow.

I dont wont to go to the expense and hassle of replacing the stack but would like to repair the leak, as everyone else has the same type stack on other properties. Can anyone recomemend a good brand of sealant or cement, etc. Surely it would be worth a try to repair there would be nothing to lose even if it lasts for a couple of years.

There are a few products for repairing cast. Is it broken or is it just a leaking joint ?
If cracked this might do it or even a GOOD silicone might work.

If t`s a proper leaded caulked joint - tighten it up with a caulking iron and lump hammer

CT1 is good stuff, hubby has used it for all kinds.... even used it on our cast iron gutter that was leaking badly.

use a caulking iron to repair your stack, use the fibreglass to make a huge comedy cok and engrave joe-90 right across it.
