BEFORE you nip it up make sure you know where the water goes off to the valve, it wont be the first time a wee nip up has caused the water to start to belt out, and knowing where the valve is to turn it off will save a lot of damage, is it off the rising main, is it off the loft tank etc, once you know where the supply comes from, nip it up if it doesnt work turn odd supply and loosen nut check olive is fully on the pipe and if it is wrap a couple of turns of ptfe tape on it, retighten and test, if it still leaks best to renew the olive and/or pipe
