Hi Cherl, this being a UK based site we can not really give you the answer you want, but you could always go and see what your neighbours have
It is not a problem to install a dishwasher in a home that has septic. I can't offer any advice regarding the well but I would imagine that it would be fine as long as the well water does not have too many minerals, eg. iron that may damage the unit over time. Even that could easily be corrected with a water filter.
