Customer pointed to water stains on bedroom ceiling when I got their this morning. so into loft I go and found someone once upon a time had tied up ballvalve with garden twine and left it tied onto valve arm (like you do ahem) but unfortunately the other end, a full ball of twine was left on a joist, the twine became a wick lol and was soaking all along joists.
