Sorry if this topic has been covered before, but iam new to the forum.
Just in the middle of buying a cottage that has no mains water connection, water for the house comes from a well on site via a pump to water tanks upstairs, which then gravity feed the bathroom downstairs.
I would like to add a upstairs bathroom as well as central heating. is it straight forward to pressurise the well supply so that i can do away with the tanks, to make room? will this pressurised system then be able to use a gas (bottles) water heating boiler system.
central heating.
we have no mains gas, so i was thinking about oil fired with a tank outside, or maybe as we have an open fire using some sort of backbolier system on a log burner salamanda.
any advice or suggestions links etc, thanks
