I used this tile adhesive to stick on a couple of ceramic tiles.
Approximately 48 hours later, I went to drill some holes for a shower mixer and the force/vibration of the drill pulled the tile away from the wall. I noticed that most of the adhesive was still entirely wet at this point. I have now removed the tiles and cleaned their back, ready to re-tile.
The adhesive was a bit thick in places as the surface had a dip. I have since built this up using some sand and cement.
Am I using the wrong product and is there anything I can use that makes the fix solid enough to drill some holes as quickly as possible? I'd like to finish the job tonight rather than wait another 48 hours for the glue to set...
Thanks in advance.
