I want to lay a wetroom floor with Altro contrax vinyl. I have never done this before so would really appreciate some help with selecting which products to use.
Its an 18mm plywood floor which is joined over joists and noggins. The wetroom former tray which is 22mm thick sits on plywood that's lowered to joist level, so it is 4mm proud of the surrounding floor. The walls are bare plasterboard, which will be tiled onto with a full bed of adhesive. What should I do in preparation for laying the vinyl please?
Also, I would like to have coved profile corners for easy cleaning, but would consider other options as I have no vinyl welding kit, nor the expertise to use it. what are my options please?

Assuming the ply is moisture tolerant etc, feather edge joints and screw heads and the vinyl can be direct laid fully stuck to the ply.

Cove and Capping contract safety floor and welding the joints and any seams is a highly specialised job requiring specialist equipment, there isn't really any alternative to doing it 'properly' that would be recommended and retain the integrity of the moisture proofing required.

If your keen there are online tutorials you could try and follow.

the surrounding floor would still be 4 mm lower than the edge of the former tray if i bond the vinyl to the plywood. would it not need raising the level with latex or something similar?
