wf541 gone beserk

Hi all

I have an hotpoint wf541 ( it is not a washer dryer) washing machine
I have read some of the posts.

My machine has all lights flashing across the top and down the side.

I came home and it was like this.. it won't switch off. The only way I can stop the flashing lights is to switch off at socket.

I am not technical at all not that strong to move a machine either!!

I looked at picture that was posted but didn't know which was a capacitor even..

What can I do to mend it or is it easier to buy a new machine..

You could call out a local repairer but see if you can get a no obligation quote first because it could well be cheaper to buy a new machine.

There is probably a capacitor on the main pub blown if you have the ability to replace it.
