What amp for an inline cable switch

A table lamp is starting to make fizzing sounds when flicked on/off so want to replace.

what Amp rating do i need?
I have seen these @2amp but is it enough?

Provided the lamp is less than 200 Watt then a 2 Amp switch will be OK
