May sound daft, but just tried "hey google set living room temperature to 20 degrees" and it worked
the two TRV heads and wall thermostat all different makes, all went to 20ºC. I didn't know I could do that.
As to if I can ask it to go to 20ºC at a set time, not tried, but living room and hall are the odd rooms out, they both have wall thermostats, so can make the boiler run, other rooms have electronic TRV heads, but these are not connected to the boiler electrically, so will only heat the rooms if the boiler happens to be running.
The boiler does not modulate, and is oil fired.
My central heating is a mixture, three makes of electronic TRV heads, 5 Bluetooth, 4 Wi-Fi, these are Energenie and Kasa, the Bluetooth will be changed for Wiser as and when I get round to it, and the old eQ-3 heads will be reused in the flat, so not wasted, but if I take the dinning room as an example, the radiator so the TRV head are by the window, so do not really show the general room temperature. So not so sure a linked TRV head is the best answer, and not sure what can be done with existing anyway? It shows
as dinning room is at moment used as store room. But is there a way to set it so if target over current, the boiler runs?
