Discovered this at the weekend, when visiting the bungalow. At first I feared the worst but have now found out the true reason.
Given the limited scope of the photo's what do you think the cause is? It's a single skin, rendered blockwork garage and this is in the central section between two support pillars.

Tree roots?
My first thought or subsidence. But no.

Has someone biffed the other side with a car?
John :)
On the right lines, but no.

If you look at the last picture you will see 2 dimples in the render. The more I looked, the more I was convinced something had reversed into it. Nipped across the road to the site office of a new estate being built just down the road and had a word with the site manager. I knew it wasn't them because the fence had been erected shortly before they started work on the estate. I didn't give him any idea of what I was suspecting, just asked for his opinion on what he thought it may be. After looking, inside and out, he concluded it was probably a vehicle with something projecting on the back, such as a ladder, scaffold poles or similar. As we came back onto the road, my wife had made us both a coffee so we were standing chatting, one of his workers come walking down the road to see him. He called him over and asked for his opinion. He took one look and said, "I know exactly what happened. It happened about 5 years ago because I saw it happen." Turns out he was going over some proposals with the architect of the new estate and they were standing on the pavement close by. They actually moved along a bit because a builders lorry, (totally unconnected with them or the guys who had re-built the bungalow), had to reverse because he had taken a wrong turning. He bumped the garage wall, (there was no fence there at the time), got out, had a look and was going to get back in the lorry and drive off. This guy off the estate stopped him and told him to go and let the owner know what he had done or he would report him. Apparently, the guy went to my FIL's and spoke to him then come back and said he had told him. He then drove off and nothing more happened. Whatever he said to FIL, it was certainly nothing to do with this because FIL would have come out to examine and then phone my wife to tell her. So, although we have a witness he can't remember the name on the wagon. :(
