Hi, I need to repair the ceiling over a bath.
I have a bad back so struggle with balance standing just on the edges of the bath.
Is there something that I can set up to work more easily?

Thanks

A long scaffold board from tap end to other end, placed at the back of the batch against the wall.
Then screw some short boards across to rest on the outer edge of the bath. Make sure the gaps between the boards are not too big to slip your foot through.
May be an idea to throw a cover over the bath first to prevent any dropped plaster from marking the bath.

When I've worked above/from the top of a bath, I used a board, the same width as the width of the bath, but with timber screwed to the underside. The timber spaced so it just drops inside the bath, thus preventing the board from slipping sideways.
