What clearance space around a ceramic hob (Ed.)

We are fitting a kitchen. We are not have an extractor fan. How big of a gap are you supposed to leave between wall units either side of an electric ceramic cooker. Thanks for any help.

100mm but bigger is best .
Some manufacturers will also provide minimum dimensions.
Check the fitting instructions .

The distance is actually none in some cases. But then I re-read your post and see that you do not have an extractor fan so I do not know if that makes a difference.
