What Connection?

Hello all,
Can anybody tell me what connection to use on the plastic outlet of an electric shower, would you use metal compression or plastic pushfit?

Compression fittings, the installation instructions will probably say that plastic fittings are a no no.

The installation manual will also tell what to use, probably 15mm copper straight into the unit and do the nut up
