The reason I ask is that today we had our TV licence sent to us with a covering letter advising us that it will be the last one they send us until 2016 since:
(a) The fee is fixed for a few years and
(b) They want to make savings, so posting letters needs to be eliminated.
Wonder how much money was paid the committee for making this decision
