What do these corrugated panels look like to you?

There in the neighbours garden and must of been there for some 20 years or so.

cementatious corrugated sheets? May well contain asbestos.

Asbestos corrugated sheeting as far as I can tell from your picture. We used to sell the same in the builders merchants I worked for.

One should not panic over this, as the risk comes from the dust when broken or cut.
Theres loads of advice for your neighbour to dispose of available on the net.

Regards

Jim

Thanks :D

I thought as much.

I mentioned it to them as one or two of them is broken and they seem to think its my problem to remove them now that I've cut the trees down

Have I got this wrong? Are the sheets on your property? (I thought they belonged to 'next-door'

If the latter, then it's there responsibility to shift them - although if left where they are, they are doing no harm to anyone.

I had some on the roof of an old (and I mean OLD) garden loo which I have dismantled. Fitted out with mask and safety goggles, I put the sheets inside a tarpaulin and broke them into bits.

They are now part of the hardcore in a concrete floor! SORTED.

It all depends how well you get on with the neighbour...
They are clearly on his property, even if he says he didn't put them there.
I'd ask him politely - he could dispose of these easily at the council tip for free so long as he takes proof of address.
They will need to be wrapped first.
If he's real stubborn get the Environmental Agency involved. Tell them you have small children and they have been kicking a ball against it... That'll get things moving. ;o)

NO.....they will tell you to control your kids and that kicking a ball against neighbours property could be an act of criminal damage.

The neighbour does not have to move it at all, it his property on his property,
