Can someone remind me what drill bit I need to go through brick?
My normal drill bits dont work.
I've gone to the local DIY shop and bought a drill diamond bit.
I thought I'd try buying online from somewhere.

When I search for 'diamond drill bit' I get all sorts of replied.
I only need a drill bit for an average size screw to hold up a frame or mirror for example.

Thanks.

thanks gregers
does a masonaru bit have a diamond part to it?
i've started trying to use whatever i have at home and then needing to go out and buy a diamond drill bit - which finally would allow me to cut through?

am i getting confused with terminology?
thanks

No, just buy a decent masonry bit. Obviously it also depends on how good your drill is. A good drill bit attached to an SDS drill will go through easily.

I find the blue Bosch multi-trade bits about the best. Get a 6mm for red plugs or 7mm for brown. They last ages. I usually lose it before it gets blunt.
