.....let that convicted London Bridge terrorist out on licence? A radicalised terrorist is never going to change their view no matter how long they spend in jail. That’s what happens when the wish-washy liberal/hug a hoody/inclusive to all w ankers are given a say. Thanks to them, two people have now had their lives tragically and horrifically cut short. Anybody convicted of plotting a bombing attack and running a terrorist training camp in Pakistan should be jailed and NEVER released. Sadly, there's a few on this forum that would agree with this terrorists right to roam the streets. We all know who they are and so do they.

So name them then...

Agreed...

So as usual mottie adds 2+2 and gets 5

Seriously WTF is wrong with you RW people?

If anybody disagrees or criticises the conservatives they must be a wishy washy liberal.
One braincell attitude.
Well said. Nobody in their right mind would want this to happen.
I must say, it's pretty distasteful to use this tragedy to try and score points over people on this forum or people who may have different political views. Pathetic.

Yes, those members of the public were just awesome. I do hope they get some sort of recognition, bravery award. May have been so much worse.

One has to admire the decision making of the police in this incident...

Whilst brave, the guy carrying away that rather large knife could have put himself at danger!

Edit: Just seen that the guy with the knife was apparently a plain clothes cop.

"""""Tour firm manager Thomas Gray said he stamped on the terrorist’s wrist to try to make him release one of two large knives he was carrying.

He added: ‘I was brought up on rugby and the rule is “one in, all in”""""
Toppppp Behaviour.

Yeah I saw him being interviewed on last nights news. Humble guy, didnt make much of what he did

Tis very difficult or nigh on impossible? To deal with these lone wolf terrorist fruit cakes?

The fact that he was not recognised as a "plain clothes cop" (isn't that the point of being "plainly clothed?") makes his part in in all the more risky; he could have been lobbed into the Thames by the public, even if not shot by his colleagues.

All round, heroic effort from both the general public, and the rozzers.(y)

The relatively low number of attacks in this country leads to the following heartening conclusions..

The police/security services are doing a good job in preventing incidents such as this...

There are less 'terrorist fruit cakes' around than some would have us believe...

I reckon it's a combination of both of those!

I'm also grateful that whilst knife/vehicle attacks are horrific, we live in a country that doesn't have the same lack of gun restriction laws as the US!

Are you Sadiq Khan?
I was going to post that the unintended consequence of mottie's rant was to unite those on this forum who have many differing views...

Because when faced with an awful incident such as this the aim is clear, and a united front shown...

Sadly you prove that there is always an ignorant exception!
