What fixings?

Hi Chaps,

Building a timber framed extension with 4 x 2, and want to screw rather than nail. I need to get my fixings in. Was planning on using 6 x 90 woodscrews (zinc and yellow passivated), but someone has come along and advised I use the green decking screws for the sole plate.

Any tips on what screws you experts would use?

Sorry mate - you couldn't provide a little more info could you?
Was hoping to get something from Screwfix - like a goldscrew or something.

dont use their something..

buy good quality screws... but not screwfix ones.... even there best are pants...
