We have just had a Gliderol roller door fitted to a garage.

Now I have to paint the timber frame surrounding the door, as well as the soffit and fascia to the roof above it.

With a burgundy door, what would compliment this well?

thanks

No idea what would compliment it well.

However the correct colour will be the one the Missus chooses (y)

Black, or white, or whatever matches the house?
It's not at the house, but at a nearby block. A long time ago, all doors and fascia boards were dark blue (1960's) but now a real mixture, doors all colours and fascia a mixture of the original blue, white, black and even one green wood stain.
My preferred choice was burgundy, but as it probably won't be the exact match to the door burgundy (that was a prepainted door) I thought navy blue would be OK too

Final choice made ... gloss black (used 'Photoshop' to show door with various surrounds and black looks OK)
