Any preference?

I'm buying a TRV, can it be turned inwards to avoid it being knocked on passing ?

only the pipe layout determines the height, it is not normal practice to install a TRV on towel rails,Towel rails are exactly that, they are there to heat towels , not the bathroom, only problem you will get if you turn the sensor inwards is that if a towel covers it then the rail will switch off too early

If pipes come up from floor you want straight valves (straight into the bottom tappings of the rail and heads turned parallel to the wall).
If they come out of the wall, you want corner valves.
Not TRV but manual.

Comes through wall I've got angled. If they are a waste of time I'll try and get a return before they get delivered. Bathstore have been utter shyte so far they were supposed to delivery today but changed it to tomorrow without bothering to tell us. You'd think they make pennies selling these things.

If the TRV is no good I'll return and get my 30 quid back.

Just to clarify there is a standard 600x600 in another corner of the room with no TRV at the moment. Sorry I forgot to mention

Height is whatever fits pipework and looks neatest overall.

You could put the TRV on the rad!

Dilalio yeah I seem to have made a problem for myself if I don't use the TRVs from bathstore as the radiator does not come with stock valves.

Ian, thanks I didn't know it was referred to as a sensor.

I'll post a photo once it's in lol.

Yes as per the previous posters the radiator needs the trv, however another option is to treat the pair as one radiator, leave the trv on the towel rail, and connect the output of one to the input of the other.
The only downside is the overall output will be slightly lower but you'll control the heat in both sources at the same time.

So got it on. Wanted to make sure there was enough clearance of the skirting on the other side of the wall. (difference in floor level). Towel on the fukcer already.

Everything was fuked in a plastic bag and fell out when I opened it. Bathstore are poor. Felt lucky to not be missing any parts. Think I might use these now because I'm not sure I can't be assed getting a refund. Here's how I intend to run the valves. So the sensor will be turned into that dead corner with nothing else going on but obviously there will need to be a turn. I think it'll look alright. The return valve is just a straight angle :

Mistakes made and lessons learnt for next time. Should have posted on here before buying the valves.
