What hight for tiled skirting? contemporary look?

Hi all, I'm having the downstairs of my house tiled at the moment (its a very large area) I will be having tiled skirts and wondered if theres a hight that works best for a contemporary look?

The tiles that are down are 80 x 80's in a grey almost concrete look.
