Hi,

Can anyone explain the term "decorating a door" please?

I thought it just meant "painting a door", but then I saw someone is charging 70 pounds for it, so it can't possibly be right?

I need a front door pretty soon, on some websites they say the doors are supplied "un-decorated", so does "decorating" actually mean "painting" or not?

Thanks!

I think decorating a door means putting in a letter box, spy-hole, knocker, locks etc.. on a main front door, plus fitting it.

to do a proper job painting a front door £70 would be about right and about double to hang and fit all the furniture.
