what is happened to my laptop?

i was repairing my printers' socket while it was conected to my laptop.
then once the voice pop up like 'BANG' lololololol.. then nothing i could see on monitor.
hard drive working and fan as well but what is happened to monitor i do not know!!! do you know?

You moight have blown the inverter- about a tenner to replace

Not sure why you would have blown it though

I take it you dont even see the bios slash screen?

Try an external screen first

well thank you for this respond, but you know, i do little about computer. so it is maybe funny if i ask you how do i can use external screen

i have now a digital screen with pc (vista) so can it help me?

It is possible you have damaged the motherboard.

Try hooking up the laptop to an external monitor, you may have to use the function (fn) key and one of the F keys to switch it to the external, although should auto detect it if its plugged in before turning it one.

If this does not work then it sounds like the laptop is not even posting, when you press the caps lock key does the light go on and off? If not then this isnt a good sign.

Try removing the power supply and battery, leaving it for a few minutes and trying again, if this does not work then next thing to try would be the ram, if you have 2 sticks then try each one in both slots 1 at a time, if this does not work then you will probably need to get a professional to look at it.
