Hi there!
My waste disposal unit (insinkerator) has started to sound as though it is trying to chew metal. With the whole thing switched completely off, I put my hand into the unit and could feel the 2 grinders; they felt a little loose, but there was nothing else in the cavity which they could have been trying to macerate.
Any ideas?
Could I try dismantling the thing to see if a teaspoon has gone down (but I don't really see how it could)? At the moment, it is completely useless as I can't bear the noise when I turn it on.
Any help or suggestions will be gratefully received! Thanks,
teddyb
