I need 2 of these nuts to install my lambo door kit, but I have lost one .

I can do that, but it's gonna take a while, so I wanted to buy one. Can't be expensive, it's only a nut... I hope so .

Can you tell if it is a standard nut or a custom made?

I would say it was particular to the kit, not a standard off the shelf part. Probably easier to go back to the supplier, or if you know someone with a metal lathe...

but could you not use a nut and a spacer[cut tube]or is it threaded along its length possibly as an adjustment!!!!
