Hi. Please see photos attached as when I was trying to close a upvc window in my client, it's been broken and I'm not sure what it is.

I looked for a Ironmongery booklet but couldn't find it at all.

Do you anyone who know what it is and where I can get?
it says "M75A" in the middle.

Many Thanks

Tony

Don't know if they have an official name - I just think of them as the striker plates for the locking pins.

You should have a pair of these for a normal opener. Why don't you just swap them over so that you'll be using the good prongs on the broken one - only one side of these things is used, after all.

If you're hell bent on a new one your best bet is to go straight to a D/G factory and see if they'll flog you a couple. If you're anywhere near Hackbridge I can give you an address.

hi tony,
What you have is called an espag keep, there are different types, lots of different types ,depending on the make of plastic the frame is.
Best bet is to swap them around ,like the other guy says.
if you get stuck them ebay is a good start, put in espag keep.
You may need to send them the broken one to match, post again if you get stuck.
