Hey,
I’ve recently been doing a rewire on our house and all the walls are dot & dabbed and the interior walls upstairs are simply 3 layers of plasterboard (the middle being slightly thicker). I’ve been cutting out the sockets and switches no problem until one switch I started cutting was a thick layer of plaster. After chipping away the top layer I could see the plaster had some shiny, gold-ish flakes mixed in with it?
The ceilings have been tested and contain asbestos, didn’t bother with testing the walls as I could see they were plasterboard so this has shook me a bit.
Anyone know what this is?
cheers
