What is this thing called?

This is from an Ottoman bed frame with storage underneath. One of these broke off. I would like to check if I can buy a replacement but I don't know what it is called. Any ideas?

whats wrong with it? It doesnt look broken.
What does it screw onto? what goes through the hole on the rounded end?

Got a pic of the rest of it?

I'd suggest its called an "ottoman bed storage arm rod end". (but thats probably not what its called lol)

Thanks, that led me down the right track. I think I found the correct search term "ottoman bed piston gas strut"
