Does anyone know what kind of hinge this is and where I can find replacements? It was fixed to a timber door.

This is the top part of the hinge where a bolt goes through this and the bottom part of the hinge fixed to the frame.

it looks like the socket part of some kind of lift-off hinge

where was it?

I can't see the size as there is no scale, but it looks like it might have been expensive.

@JohnD - just added another picture which hopefully helps put it in perspective. The first image is the top portion of the hinge. You are correct in that it lifts off.

in the second pic it looks like anodised aluminium, rather than brass, so maybe not expensive.

I've seen a fair number of lift-off hinges, but don't recognise that type.

other examples here

The PVD brass (plated on stainless steel) are extremely good and keep their looks

it is just an internal door? not a fire door or external door?

Thanks @JohnD This is for an external door and you're correct it isn't brass. I've tried googling this but can't find anything similar to this.

It's a lift off Stormproof or Offset hinge.

You would be better off finding the manufacturer of the door, as it may be proprietary.
