Hi guys,
Last year i rebuilt my garage...i left the old floor in situ but i "trimmed it around the edges to allow me to beef up the foundations to accept a twin leaf cavity wall.
I never got around to refilling this part of the floor!!
Basically what im left with if a 6" trench around my floor.
So my question is...as i never did anything with a floor before...what ratio of what should i mix to bring up this section in parallel with my current floor?
I have plastering sand and some gravel/sand mix still lying abouit that i was hoping i could use.
The floor will be covered with vinyl tiles (ecotile) so appearance isnt terribly important...as long as its strong and relatively smooth/in line with the rest of the floor it will be fine.
Cheers,
MArty.
