What paint for internal moulded doors and skirting ??

Hi.. What paint would you recommend for the doors and skirting. (make/type)
Will be painting on top of old paint which looks like satin or semi gloss..
Any tips for a newbie DIY painter....

PBW gloss has always been very popular, but I an coming round to preferring a Satin finish.

More and more people are going over to satin finish. It goes on easier than gloss and is easy to recoat. Dulux Satinwood is one of the best to use for this.
