I’m renovating a bungalow and having an air source heat pump with underfloor heating throughout. Hot water will be stored in a direct, unvented hot water cylinder. The cold water feed to the property is restricted by the water meter to a 15mm pipe.
Therefore is there any point in using 22mm pipe then reduce it at the tee to the branch (e.g. basin) or simply to run 15mm through out?
Note: whilst a bath will be installed, usage will be infrequent.
