What plasterboard fixing do People use now.
For Ex:
Hanging kitchen wall cabinets on plasterboard that cladded over so around 24mm thick .

I used fischer duo but these ended up failing, so looking at the toggle or anchor type to re hang tomorrow.
All be it it was only 1 cabinet.

I will say I did mount a batton within the plasterboard before cladding but a change of wall unit size scuppered that grrrr.

I did that but a change of units after cladding the wall means my batton is now an inch too high.

The screw holes on the cabinet mounts are only 30mm sways from each other so grip its would.be too close .

Yeah you said behind the plasterboard, I’m on about hang batten on existing cladding or wall, and hang the unit on that. Top and bottom or vertical if need be. Don’t think many board fixings will hold a unit with much weight in it.

Easifix hollow wall anchors from SF, they have a good range of sizes and seem to be as effective as the more expensive ficsher versions. Duo plugs o smaller jobs. The clam style grip fixings need to big a hole imo, and are too expesnive
